Getting The Most Out Of Master Resale Rights
By edwood
Hi. Thanks for stopping by! My name is Michael Hopkins and I've been making money with Master Resale Rights products for the past 10 years or so. My aim with this Hub is to show you how you can do the same.
Be sure to bookmark this Hub and check back often. I've got lots of great content -- and nice free stuff -- on the way for you!
Okay, let's get started...
Firstly, if you're not sure what Resale Rights (RR) or Master Resale Rights (MRR) are, here's a quick introduction.
In a nutshell, if you own resale rights to a product, you have the right to resell that product from your own website -- and you get to keep all of the profit you make from each sale you make.
There are three types of resale rights available...
- Resale Rights: With resale rights you can resell the product 'as is'. You can't change it or edit it and you can't sell the resale rights on to your customers. (In other words, your customers can only use the product for themselves -- they can't resell it to anyone else.)
- Master Resale Rights: This is similar to basic resale rights in that you can't edit or change the product itself. BUT, products with MRR have one major difference: you can pass the resale rights on to your customers. This makes them more attractive to your visitors because, if they like the product, there's a good chance they'd love to be able to sell it just like you are.
- Private Label Rights: With Private Label Rights, you're allowed to edit the product itself any way you want. You can add links, ads, and so on. You can even change the title of the product and present yourself as the author/developer. PLR products make
terrific items to resell because, once you've rebranded them with your own information, you have both a new product to sell AND a terrific tool to promote your website or affiliate products!
NOTE: This Hub will deal will RR and MRR only. Soon I'll set up a 'sister' Hub dealing specifically with PLR.
Once you own the resale rights to a product, you can sell it over and over again from your website -- and you keep 100% of the profits you make from every sale. There are no royalties (or any other kind of ongoing fees) to be paid to the original author/developer.
In the vast majority of cases, a product with resale rights comes with a ready-to-go sales website, including graphics and so on. That means, all you have to do is make a few small changes to the sales page (change the order link and contact information to your own) and then upload it to your website. You're ready to start selling!
So how do you get resale rights to a product?
There are lots of products (ebooks, software, videos, audios...) with resale rights and master resale rights available online - and they're available across a vast range of subjects. You can find everything from internet marketing software, to golfing tips ebooks, to HubPages 'how to' videos and a whole lot more.
Here are a few good places to find a LOT of products with resale rights:
- SureFireWealth: You'll get lots more free products with a free silver membership to this site.
Think Quality...
When choosing a product to resell, make sure it's a good one.
Here are a few pointers...
- If the product itself is not much good, forget about it - it will be more trouble than it's worth. If you have a sales page full of hype -- and a product that doesn't live up to that hype -- you're going to have nothing but a stream of unhappy customers.
- If the product doesn't come with a ready-to-go website, forget it too. After all, the advantage of resale rights is that you can get started FAST - having to develop a website from scratch is anything but fast.
- If the sales website has poor graphics/layout or is badly written, move on. Your visitors will expect the same poor quality from the product itself.
Finally, just ask yourself this question... "Would I buy this product myself?"
If the answer is "Yes", go for it.

Okay, that covers it for this first draft. Over the coming days I'll be adding more tips, resources and free downloads to help you get moving with master resale rights.
Stay tuned!
